Natasha Nolette is a multifaceted artist who uses her skill set to create fun and engaging works. She utilizes animation to address more complex topics, such as grief or paranoia, while using fantastical elements to craft family-friendly narratives that provoke conversation among all ages. She explores and experiments with her illustrations, not sticking to a particular style, focusing on telling stories within a singular image. She creates character designs and environments while experimenting with visual styles to enhance the preexisting narratives. Additionally, her graphic design emphasizes communication and readability, keeping it clean and minimal while remaining personable and intriguing.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Northwestern — Saint Paul, majoring in Animation & Illustration, Graphic Design, and Studio Art and she received her Master’s in Animation at the Royal College of Art
Her short film, Wayfarer, was selected and premiered in the 2023 Five16 Film Festival and has since been selected and won multiple awards from festivals globally. She also participated in a group 3D and 2D animated short film titled “Inked,” which won 1st place in the 2019 Teen Animation Festival International, supported by the Disney Family Museum.
